Q1. How did your career journey start? Or Who/What inspired you to start this business/ entrepreneurship?

While doing my MBA from the S. P. Jain Inst of mgmt., the seeds of entrepreneurship were sown but it took 7 years to bear fruit and became an entrepreneur on the 15th of aug, 1999. Since then there has been no looking back…Started a manpower recruitment firm Career Aveneus (I) Pvt Ltd and scaled it up from 2 employees to a 325 consultants organisation spread across 26 offices all over India.

Q2. Kindly share some information about your Business, products and services here.

Currently I use my formal mgmt. experience and the practical nuances while growing my business to help lot of business owners either to

a)       Kick start  their new ventures

b)       Show how to grow their business exponentially

c)       Prove to them how a business can be run on auto mode

This is done by working with the business owners and their team, setting up a goal, planning their vision and mission , attracting and retaining talent and making it happen

Q3. What kind of challenges did you face while starting/doing business?

Initially a) why should an employee join me… am I different compared to others…..because without the right people in your team, chances of growth are limited…

Then b) am I on the right path ? it is always lonely at the top…..better to have an experienced hand who has all seen it through to guide you and brainstorm with you…

c)       How to be on the business rather than in the business…..

Q4. Do share with our readers about your discovery period when you were facing difficulties in your business?

Setting goals is the most important part of a journey coz it provides direction, motivation and zeal to surge ahead.

Constantly upgrading oneself by reading books and surrounding oneself with positive oriented people is an absolute must

My vision is to become the No 1 business owner coach in the next 5 years

Q7. How would you advice/suggest new entrepreneurs who want to start & sustain in business?

Work on yourself , rather than expecting things to happen…

Pain of discipline is much better, do the high priority items daily even though it bugs you
